Coverage volume by month

Press coverage naming the insurer. Counts every item in the coverage set, including any still waiting to be scored.

Net sentiment by month

Each clip scores from +2 (positive) to −2 (negative). The line is the average for that month, so above zero is net favourable.

Sentiment mix by month

Share of that month’s scored clips at each point on the scale. Bar width is constant, so read shape rather than volume here.

    Net sentiment by outlet

Outlets with at least three scored clips in range, worst first.

    What we get covered for

Themes matched in coverage naming the insurer, most frequent first. One story can carry several themes, so these do not sum to the total.

    Scope
Everything here counts press coverage that names the insurer. Excluded: Vermont health care stories that never mention the insurer, the insurer’s own site, national association pages, recruitment listings, Facebook and short-video items, and stories about a different plan that merely shares part of the name.
    Volume
Counts every story in that set, including any collected too recently to have been scored yet. Sentiment charts cover the scored subset, so the two can differ for the current month.
    Themes
Drawn from the terms the matcher found in each story. One story usually carries several, so the theme counts do not sum to the story count.
    Scale
Five points: positive, neutral to positive, neutral, neutral to negative, negative. Tone is judged toward the insurer, not toward the story overall.
    Method
Scores are AI-generated. Treat them as a first pass, not a substitute for reading the clip.
